Casablanca Inn

The [included] breakfast was more than adequate for the price. Since completing their rennovations, they have resumed providing a hot breakfast again. I have stayed in other hotels in this city, and the value for money with Casablanca Inn either equals or surpasses those other hotels without a doubt. I traveled with a (large) dog, and it was no issue with the hotel or staff. Definitely a positive feature for the Casabanca Inn, allowing pets! Depsite its location on the main street, the hotel is very quiet. Parking (on site) is a little tight...but I have managed to get myself a parking spot each time I have stayed there. While not in the heart of 'down town', it is still very close (walking distance) to many ammenities such as convenience stores, 7-Eleven, restaurants, bars, gas stations, etc., and the drive to the center of 'down town' is only around 5 -10 minutes, depending on traffic! If traveling with a dog, there is a dog park about 10 - 15 minutes up Pico Rd as well - which is also very close to a grocery store, Walmart, and a multitude of restaurants and other types of businesses (within a huge shopping complex). The beach, along with a train station, is virtually across the road from the hotel (one block down, across the road). I would definitely recommend this hotel, and have personally stayed here multiple times myself.

The location was perfect for a family wedding. We were across the street from the venue as well as a 7 minute walk to a nice little beach. There were several shops and restaurants within walking distance as well. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The AC worked well and we liked the balcony. We saw several of the rooms our group was staying in and noticed a big discrepancy between room quality. There is a renovated section of the hotel that is much nicer than the older rooms but even some of the older rooms were nicer and more modern than others. The pool was clean and well maintained. We loved using the courtyard to meet up. The breakfast was very mediocre but as it was free, we weren’t too bothered. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. The manager Derek was amazing before and during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay at the Casablanca Inn.

The hotel has a nice design. I liked the view in the inner courtyard. Staff is kind. The hotel is a bit dated, still it is well maintained. My room (third floor) was large, comfortable, and very well kept. Large safebox. The hotel has two large parkings, one in the front and one in the back, and I had no difficulties to find parking at any time. Overall I enjoyed my stay, considering the price is more convenient than most other hotels in the area.

In town for 2 nights for a family gathering. Location is 0.2 mi from the beach access. Walked on the beach each morning to start my day. Local coffee shop across the street (opens at 7am) was always crowded. Daily breakfast offered had many options. Avocado toast was yummy! The room we stayed in has not been remodeled. Very outdated but clean. The bed was super comfy.

Overall a great stay for this price range. The rooms are generously large. Beds were comfortable and overall the room was clean. Staff were kind and amazing and responded to our request very promptly. Breakfast is minimal but good! Parking is available on site. Quiet and peaceful. Close to beaches and location was very convenient.
